SEN 1:1 Support Nusery Assistant Vacancy – Wellingborough

Hours: 18 hours a week, Term Time only, 9am-3pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Rate of pay: £10 – £12.21 per hour depending on age

What are we looking for

We are currently recruiting a Nursery Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis. You will be working in the preschool of our Wellingborough Nursery and your job will include producing the necessary paperwork.

You will be working with a child with ASD.

You will be working 18 hours a week, 9am-3pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, term time only.

The rate of pay is from £10 to £12.21 per hour depending on age.

Previous experience working with children with special needs is desired but not essential.

The Candidate will:

• Have empathy with Children and be sympathetic to their needs
• Demonstrate good communication skills and be able to clarify instructions clearly
• Be professionally discreet and able to respect confidentiality on different issues
• Understand Safeguarding Procedures

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS Check.
